Laboratory Technician - Slough 
Join our team as a Laboratory Technician, where you will support scientific teams and help maintain our laboratories to the highest standards.

This is a fully site based role. Working together in person supports close, real time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
What you will do- Carry out routine daily and weekly calibration checks to ensure laboratory equipment is compliant and ready for use.
- Prepare analytical buffers to support laboratory methods and scientific processes.
- Manage laboratory consumables, ensuring stock levels are maintained and items are available at points of use.
- Order consumables through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and coordinate with internal stores.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by cleaning glassware and plasticware and supporting washroom operations.
- Process laboratory deliveries, including receipt, storage, and communication with relevant teams.
- Clean and prepare water baths and other equipment in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures.
- Record data accurately in electronic and paper formats, following GMP and Data Integrity principles.
- Proven experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally in a support or technician role.
- Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, calibration processes, and maintenance requirements.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage inventory effectively.
- Familiarity with laboratory health, safety and quality standards.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, efficient and compliant workspace.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
