Laboratory Technician

Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a small biotechnology company that develops and supplies PCR kits. The role will be based at their site in Harlow, Essex on a permanent basis and offers a salary of £25,000- £27,000.

• Labelling and aliquoting reagents and materials in accordance with written procedures
• Washing, preparing and maintaining laboratory glassware and equipment
• Preparing buffers, reagents and solutions
• Supporting protein purification and manufacturing processes
• Maintaining appropriate stock levels of laboratory consumables
• Ensuring laboratory areas remain clean and organised
• Completing documentation and maintaining accurate laboratory records

• A degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Plant Science, or a related biological discipline
• Demonstrable hands on experience in a molecular biology laboratory
