Together, we're improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team at Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday - 37hrs

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsibility to maintain lab cleanliness, supplies and tidiness (cleaning, calibrations, reagent prep and disposal, waste disposal etc.)
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and equipment records within laboratory areas
  • Assists in the preparation of consumables for standard assay(s) being performed in base lab area
  • Learns to accurately record and data check study and laboratory raw data
  • Assists with the preparation of materials and solutions required to perform the assays
  • Assists with the archiving of non-study data, equipment metrology records
  • Assists with performing sample processing procedures associated with Flow Cytometry assays
  • Learns to perform basic cell culturing procedures
Minimum Qualifications
  • GCSEs of grades C/4 or above in Maths, English and Science
Additional Job Standards
  • All tasks will be performed with minimal supervision on satisfactory completion of training
  • Ability to work flexibly including occasional weekends
  • Excellent attention to detail
