Location: Edinburgh Seafield
Hours: Monday to Friday, (36 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £14.51 per hour
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Start Date: Immediate

Full Clean UK Cat B Driving Licence Essential

The Role
We're looking for a reliable and organised Laboratory Assistant to support the day-to-day running of a busy laboratory. Duties will include:

• Preparing, cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and glassware
• Handling, organising, storing and disposing of samples safely
• Maintaining stock levels of laboratory supplies
• Keeping laboratory and communal areas clean and organised
• Supporting sample deliveries and collections
• Assisting scientific staff with basic laboratory tasks

About You
Ideally, you'll have:

• A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific subject
• Previous laboratory experience, ideally within a UKAS-accredited environment
• Excellent attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A valid driving licence (essential)
