For our partner located in the canton of Valais, GI Life Sciences is looking for a:

Laboratory Assistant - Quality Control (50-80%) German/English

Location: Visp

Temporary position
Start date: 01/10/2025
End date: 30/09/2026

Your responsibilities:

• Perform daily tasks and control measures in compliance with GMP and safety standards.
• Carry out spectroscopic measurements (IR/NIR/Raman) in the quality control laboratory.
• Organize sample logistics for external shipments and internal transfers (raw materials).
• Receive, store, and document samples intended for quality control.
• Ensure routine cleaning, sample inventory management, and disposal according to procedures.
• Assist with customs clearance of materials.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration tests on specific equipment.
• Participate in other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Your profile:

• Technical assistant training or equivalent experience in biotechnology, chemistry, and GMP environment.
• Junior position in quality control (0 to 4 years of experience).
• German required, English desired.
