Industrial Relations Business Partner

Annapurna are currently supporting a global client to appoint a seasoned Industrial Relations Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering industrial relations strategy across Europe.

You'll act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders, leading complex works council consultations, union negotiations, and organisational change activity in multiple countries - including Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, and the UK.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead works council and union consultations on business change, tech implementation, and collective bargaining.
• Navigate European IR legislation (especially across The Netherlands and Germany) and ensure full compliance.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with employee representatives.
• Partner with senior HR and business stakeholders to proactively manage IR risks.
• Help shape and modernise the organisation's approach to industrial relations across the region.

What We're Looking For:

• Deep expertise in European IR, including hands-on experience with Works Councils and unions.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch and German labour law, plus at least one other European market.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to complex negotiations.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as deputy to the Global IR Director.
• Fluent Dutch speaker.
