Lab/Chromascan Technician

A Lab/Chromascan Technician is needed for an 18 month temporary assignment in Felling. The role involves supporting a major manufacturing facility, performing precise colour measurement and analysis using Chromascan equipment, and handling general laboratory duties.

• Location: Felling
• Shifts: Mon Fri 08 30
• Pay: £25,000 to £29,000 per annum plus shift allowance
• Duration: 18 months

• Support regional colour matching requirements through the effective use of Chromascan and AWLMIX systems.
• Take ownership of maintaining the colour laboratory, ensuring excellent housekeeping standards.
• Manage supplies and equipment.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant and productive workplace.
• Plan and deliver assigned support activities as agreed with line manager or supervisor; ensure measurements, weights, and volumes are precise.
• Follow process requests within a time frame.
• Communicate progress and issues effectively, both verbally and in summaries or presentations for discussions with line manager or supervisor.
• Identify improvement needs and generate ideas for improvement activities or projects for discussion with line manager.
• Communicate and liaise effectively with others within the team, MPY, RD&I.
• Be familiar with relevant colour experimental, development, and analytical approaches or techniques.
• Maintain a safe working environment; be a member of the 5S team, support Hand&S engagement audits, and support BBS processes.
