Job Description
A highly technical, engineering-led firm within the quant space is looking for a Software Engineer to work on a large-scale container platform that underpins critical systems.
The role- Building and improving core components of a Kubernetes-based platform
- Developing tooling and services to support large-scale, multi-tenant environments
- Working on scheduling, orchestration, and performance of distributed systems
- Contributing to platform reliability, scalability, and efficiency
- Collaborating closely with infrastructure and platform teams
- Writing production-quality code and improving engineering standards
- High-throughput distributed systems processing millions of workloads daily
- Infrastructure spanning large compute clusters and GPU workloads
- Highly automated environment with continuous deployment and change
- Performance-sensitive systems with real scale challenges
- Strong software engineering background
- Experience with Kubernetes in production environments
- Proficiency in Go and/or Python
- Experience building or working on distributed systems
- Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
- Ability to solve complex engineering problems at scale
