Job Description
The Governors of St Andrew's C of E Primary and Nursery School are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic TA to support our fantastic KS2 children. The role would be based within KS2 supporting in class and with small group interventions. We welcome experience of working with SEND children and those working below age-related expectations. St Andrew's is a good school (Ofsted July 2023) where children and staff are well supported. Strong Christian morals and values run through the school, behaviour is good and children are keen to learn.
Job description:
Supporting small group work in class.
A mixture of intervention groups and class-based support work with SEND and children working below age related expectations.
To work in partnership with the class teacher to ensure that interventions, both in class and away from the classroom, are impactful and supportive.
To work as part of the KS2 TA team offering support across KS2, including preparation for Y6 SATs
An involvement in the extended school community, including some after school events and whole school events.

Polite, friendly, hardworking children with strong Christian morals and values.
The backing of a hard-working team of support staff with a friendly team ethos.
Any additional training necessary to meet the requirements of the role
A strong emphasis on wellbeing, including a supportive SLT and school Governing Body.
