Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher ready to inspire a classroom of young learners? We're looking for a dynamic Year 5 Class Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community in New Barnet from January 2025. This role is long-term, running through to July, with the potential to evolve into a permanent position for the right candidate.

What the Role Involves
As our Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

• Lead a lively Year 5 class, setting high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement.

• Plan and deliver stimulating lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.

• Track and assess pupil progress, ensuring all learners are challenged and supported.

• Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes both academic and personal growth.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practice across the school.

• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers, supporting each child's learning journey.

Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or 6 experience preferred).

• Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and a thorough understanding of the primary curriculum.

• Be reflective, adaptable, and committed to professional growth.
