KS1 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Great Barr on a 3-day-per-week basis.

This is a great opportunity for a passionate classroom practitioner who enjoys working in Key Stage 1 and is confident delivering engaging, high-quality learning to early years pupils transitioning through KS1.

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons across the curriculum
• Support early literacy and numeracy development
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess, track and support pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with staff to support learning outcomes
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within KS1 (EYFS experience desirable)
• Strong understanding of early learning and phonics
• Confident classroom practitioner
• Flexible, committed and able to work part-time (3 days per week)
