You will reinforce phonics, early reading, writing, and number work, help children stay engaged in lessons, and work closely with the teacher to support day-to-day progress. Teaching assistants support the class teacher to enhance learners' progress either in groups or individually.The Candidate: You are patient, positive, and able to explain ideas clearly to younger pupils. You want practical primary school experience, enjoy helping children make progress in the basics that shape the rest of their education, and are keen to build the classroom habits needed for a future in teaching. Primary teacher routes in England typically require GCSE English and Maths, and GCSE Science for primary teaching.Requirements

• Degree - A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication - Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS - Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children - Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Career Goals - A desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career in education.
