Kitchen porter / Kitchen Assistant Bassmead Manor wedding and events venue PE19 5JB £28,000 - £29,750 per annum plus hourly overtime Start date - July/August 2026

Artemisare is looking for a kitchen porter to join our kitchen team at our Bassmead Manor venue in Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will need to be self motivated, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

The must haves

• 1 year's experience in a similar position preferred but not essential. Full training provided.
• A proven track record, with good references to support your CV.
• Strong communication skills. Hygiene awareness and basic knowledge of food safety and COSHH.
• Own transport is essential due to the location. Please note this position DOES NOT offer live in.
• Candidates must be eligible to work full time in the UK.

What will my responsibilities include?

• Keeping a clean, tidy working environment, dishwashing, kitchen sanitation and waste management.
• Assisting chefs in basic food preparation.
• Day to day reporting to the Head chef / Sous chef.
