About the role:

We have a selection of restaurants at the resort so our kitchens are very busy environments.Your main responsibility will be to ensure all kitchen cleanliness and assist with general food preparation. We have a dedicated brigade of kitchen porter's so we are seeking people with excellent, hard-working attitudes.

Job Description: The main duties of this role include but are not limited to:

• Washing dishes, pots, and the provision of the required equipment in the kitchen.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, floors, racks, and anything else required by the chefs.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
• Following all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
• Responsibility for the security and safe handling of all equipment used.
• Carrying out any other duties set by Senior Chefs in the kitchen.

The Person: Applicants Criteria:

• Must be able to use their own initiative and be able to work well under pressure.
• Be an excellent team player.
• Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Have the ability to communicate well with other team members.

Desirable:

• Have previous experience working in a kitchen.
