What you'll be doing

• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running efficiently
• Washing dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment to a high standard
• Supporting the chefs with basic food prep when needed
• Maintaining hygiene, health & safety, and food safety standards at all times
• Helping with deliveries, waste management, and stock organisation
• Being a key team player in a fast paced, professional kitchen

What we're looking for

• A positive, can do attitude and strong work ethic
• Pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment
• Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Previous kitchen porter experience is helpful, but not essential - full training provided

Stein's Fish & Chips in Padstow boasts both a restaurant and takeaway, located on the beautiful North Cornwall coast overlooking the Camel Estuary. You'll find a menu of cod and haddock together with a large range of local fish like hake, lemon sole, Cornish scallops and bass which is often landed right here on our doorstep in Padstow.
