The RoleAs aKitchen PorteratHoar Cross Hall, you'll play a vital role in the smooth operation of our kitchen. Your key responsibility will be ensuring that all kitchen equipment is cleaned to the highest standards and that our kitchen is maintained in a safe, efficient, and organized manner.
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual with a great work ethic and a willingness to learn. No prior kitchen experience is necessary-we value your dedication and drive to improve with each shift.
Key Responsibilities- Ensuring all kitchen equipment (pots, pans, crockery, etc.) is cleaned to the highest standards
- Following correct cleaning proceduresand adhere to provided cleaning schedules
- Using appropriate cleaning chemicalssafely and effectively
- Maintaining a tidy and organisedpot wash area and cleaning equipment storage areas
- Sweeping and moppingthe kitchen floor at the end of each shift to maintain cleanliness
- Ensuring all binsare emptied throughout the day and cleaned inside and out at the end of each shift
- Have a positive attitude with a strong work ethic and pride in what you do
- Have a willingness to learnand develop within the kitchen environment
- Have the ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately
- Have good attention to detailin maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Have the flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Have previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is advantageous but not required.
- 40 hours per week
- 5 days out of 7per week
- Full flexibility is required as you may be needed to work when necessary, based on team and business needs
