Job Description
Kitchen Manager - Full-Time
Company: Roche Health Care
Location: Tudor House Care Home, Selby, North Yorkshire
Hours: 41 hours gross (38.5 paid) 07:00-15:00 Alternate weekends
Salary: Negotiable, based on experience
Type: Permanent, daytime shifts only (no evenings or nights)
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals and refreshments
Cater to specialist dietary needs
Maintain kitchen hygiene and equipment standards
Manage food documentation and stock control within budget
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
Previous kitchen experience required
Experience in elderly care preferred but not essential
Strong communication and organisational skills
Team leadership ability
NVQ or 706/1, 706/2 qualifications preferred (not essential)
