Our team is looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist with delivering quality meals to residents. This is an opportunity to gain experience in a kitchen or start a new career in catering. You will help ensure residents' dietary requirements are met.

Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Assistant you will support the chef with meal preparation and delivery. You will be responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, maintaining a clean kitchen area in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, and meeting the home's exemplary standards.

• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen environment
• Cleaning all crockery, cutlery and food preparation equipment
• Assist in preparation of meals for service
• Prepare food and ingredients for service

Desirable Skills and Experience

We provide support for your role. Previous experience in a health care setting is not essential but may be beneficial.
