Catering Assistant - Retail Restaurant Environment - Canvey Island (SS8 9QS)

We are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to join a busy restaurant within a retail environment based in Canvey Island, SS8 9QS.

The Role:

You will be supporting the kitchen and front-of-house team in a fast-paced catering environment, helping to maintain high standards of food preparation, cleanliness, and customer service.

Duties include:

• Assisting with basic food prep
• Keeping kitchen and service areas clean and organised
• Pot wash and general kitchen duties
• Supporting with food service during busy periods
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen or catering experience is required
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable and hard-working attitude
