Kinder-2nd Grade Teacher

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kindergarten-Second Teacher to join our team at Palmer Elementary School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for our students, and have a strong understanding of child development and educational principles.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum and educational standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Regularly assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
• Participate in professional development activities and stay updated with the latest teaching methods and educational trends.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of child development and educational principles.
• Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans.
• Ability to manage classroom effectively and promote positive student behavior.
• Proficient in using technology to enhance the learning experience.

Certifications:

The candidate must hold valid Elementary and ESL teaching certifications.
