Kind After School Nanny in Forest of Dean

Overview

A warm and nurturing nanny is sought to provide afterschool care and companionship for an 11-year-old girl living in the heart of the Forest of Dean. The family have recently built their dream home, designed to blend beautifully with nature and surrounded by 14 acres of woodland and open land. It's a peaceful, creative environment that the family describe as their safe space, for connection and relaxation.

Responsibilities

• Build a genuine connection with the daughter and share in the activities she loves (painting nails, pampering, hanging out, etc.)
• Provide afterschool care from 3pm - 7pm Monday - Friday and support her emotional and social development.
• Engage with the family's lifestyle, enjoying outdoor activities and caring for the home's animals (micro pigs, dogs, cats).
• Act as a trusted maternal figure and work in partnership with the family.

Requirements

• Up-to-date enhanced eDBS certificate registered on the updated service.
• 12-hour pediatric first aid certificate.
• Minimum of 2 professional referees (current or last employer) immediately contactable.
• Driving licence - essential.
• Knowledge and love of animals and outdoors is a bonus.
• Current personal insurance is recommended.

Job Details

• Location: Longhope, Herefordshire
• Hours: 3pm - 7pm, Monday - Friday
• Pets in the home: Micro pigs, dogs and cats
• Driving required: Yes, essential
• Job Start Date: ASAP
• Pay: £15 gross per hour
• Permanent position
