Position Type: Community Education/ Kids Club Supervisor

Le Sueur-Henderson Community Education is seeking a reliable and caring adult to join our Kids Club summer childcare program, with a primary responsibility of helping close the program at the end of each day.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for flexible, meaningful work in a positive team environment.

• Primary Role: End-of-day closing staff (afternoon/evening hours)
• Schedule: Flexible -10 to 40 hours per week, based on your availability
• Compensation:$13-$15 per hour, depending on qualifications
• Summer Position, with the opportunity to continue during the school year if interested

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage school-age children in a safe, structured environment
• Lead recreational activities, games, and outdoor play
• Assist with daily setup and cleanup
• Communicate with families during pick-up
• Manage and completeend-of-day closing procedures, ensuring the program space is organized and secure

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay active and engaged throughout the day
• Must be able to pass required background checks
