Kids Club Assistant Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Centre

The 4-star Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club is seeking a trustworthy and engaging Kids Club Assistant to join our vibrant team. Conveniently located just a short stroll from Maynooth town centre and only a 25-minute drive from Dublin City Centre, the Glenroyal Hotel is easily accessible via national rail and bus services.

Role Overview:

Join our team at the Little Explorers Kids Club and help create magical experiences for our youngest guests! As a Kids Club Assistant, you'll be an energetic and caring presence, guiding children through exciting activities, games, and creative adventures in a safe and welcoming environment. From arts and crafts and imaginative play for our younger guests, to overseeing our state-of-the-art games room for older children and teens, you'll bring enthusiasm and energy to every interaction. Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage children in a range of fun, age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, games, and imaginative play
  • Oversee the games room, ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for older children and teens
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times, adhering to hotel safeguarding policies
  • Deliver a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience that reflects the high standards of our hotel
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing friendly and reassuring updates on their child's time at the club
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked activity space, reporting any maintenance or supply needs promptly
Skills & Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare, hospitality, or leisure setting is desirable but not essential
  • Willingness to undergo Garda vetting is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with children and young people of all ages
  • A high level of written & spoken English is required
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts during the week and weekends. Kids club runs 7 days a week during peak periods
