Role Overview

• As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of our pupils.
• Working with small groups of children to reinforce lessons and promote active learning.
• Providing 1:1 support for pupils who may need additional help to reach their full potential.
• Helping to deliver intervention programs aimed at improving learning outcomes for children.
• Assisting the class teacher in creating and implementing lesson plans, adapting resources, and providing targeted support to individuals.
• Safeguarding knowledge and ensuring the wellbeing of all pupils is a top priority.
• Building strong relationships with parents and working collaboratively to ensure a high level of support for each child.

• A passion for working with children, especially those in Key Stage 2.
• The ability to work with groups of children as well as provide individual support.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• A proactive attitude and the willingness to be trained in delivering effective intervention programs.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive and friendly team.
• A positive, flexible approach to supporting the needs of pupils and staff alike.
