Role Overview- As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of our pupils.
- Working with small groups of children to reinforce lessons and promote active learning.
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils who may need additional help to reach their full potential.
- Helping to deliver intervention programs aimed at improving learning outcomes for children.
- Assisting the class teacher in creating and implementing lesson plans, adapting resources, and providing targeted support to individuals.
- Safeguarding knowledge and ensuring the wellbeing of all pupils is a top priority.
- Building strong relationships with parents and working collaboratively to ensure a high level of support for each child.
- A passion for working with children, especially those in Key Stage 2.
- The ability to work with groups of children as well as provide individual support.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A proactive attitude and the willingness to be trained in delivering effective intervention programs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive and friendly team.
- A positive, flexible approach to supporting the needs of pupils and staff alike.
