Job Description

We're looking for a Junior WordPress Support Developer to join our support team. You'll help keep client websites running smoothly, troubleshoot issues, and learn from experienced developers in a collaborative environment.

This is an ideal role for someone with some WordPress experience who wants hands on experience supporting real clients, improving their technical skills, and growing into a full stack developer over time.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Monitor and troubleshoot client WordPress websites.
  • Work within the support team to help diagnose and fix small bugs, plugin conflicts, or performance issues.
  • Assist with plugin updates, theme adjustments, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to learn best practices for WordPress development and support.
  • Participate in testing, QA, and debugging to ensure client sites stay stable and secure.
  • Document issues and solutions clearly for internal knowledge sharing.
  • Occasionally assist with small enhancements or internal tools.
Qualifications
  • Some experience with WordPress - building, maintaining, or customising sites.
  • Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with MySQL and basic database concepts.
  • Problem solving mindset and ability to work methodically.
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow as a developer.
  • Good communication skills and a client-focused attitude.
Bonus
  • Experience with WooCommerce support.
  • Familiarity with GIT or version control.
  • Interest in learning frameworks like Laravel.
