Junior Sous Chef / Sous Chef

A full time position has opened for a strong junior sous / sous chef paying 28k - 30k per year depending on experience, plus a share of tips for the right candidate here in the coastal town of Bude.

We operate in a 20 bedroomed hotel with a 60+ cover restaurant overlooking the sea and Summerleaze beach.

Experience and Skills

Would suit a strong junior sous or competent sous chef
Previous experience in a similar role, capable of running the pass and covering in the absence of the senior sous and head chef.

Creative, quick thinking, organised and good communication skills
Passion for cooking

You will be working in a kitchen of 5 full time chefs plus casual staff when required producing dishes of an Italian theme as well as other dishes for our specials menu using locally sourced produce.

We strive to be consistent and offer a menu that caters for both discerning tastes and dietary requirements alike.

We have a very good following from local customers and businesses in the surrounding area all year round and obviously being coastal the volume increases during the holiday season.
