Job Description

A Junior Sous Chef is required for a stunning luxury spa hotel set within breathtaking coastal surroundings in County Durham.

This magnificent country house property sits within beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking the dramatic North East coastline.

Combining historic grandeur with contemporary luxury, the hotel is renowned for its exceptional hospitality, award-winning spa facilities and an exciting collection of dining experiences that attract guests from across the region and beyond.

  • 4day working week (40+ hours)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join a professional kitchen team within a unique and ambitious dining concept.

The kitchen is modern, well-equipped and run by an experienced senior team who are passionate about maintaining exceptional standards while supporting the development of their brigade.

As Junior Sous Chef you will:
  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Assist in leading the brigade during service and ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation and organisation
  • Assist with ordering, stock control and kitchen management
  • Help train and develop junior chefs within the team
  • Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained

Due to the location and shift patterns, candidates must have access to their own transport.
