The PostThe role of the Digital & Security (DaS) SBU is to support the NHS Scotland national eHealth agenda through the effective delivery of digital products and specialist services that will enable clinical process and efficiency improvements across Scotland. This includes the delivery of digital services, systems, data and contracts which enable cross-Board/ boundary integration, workflow, information sharing, cost efficiency realisation and collaboration.
In order to meet the increasing demand from Health Boards and Scottish Government, NSS Digital and Security (DaS) Business Unit are seeking to recruit a Junior Service Manager within the Cloud Engineering & Digital Operations (CE&DO) team to provide Service Management for national GP IT systems used by NHS Scotland, including facilitating clinical-based governance and managing change and release cycles, incident and problem management whilst assuring the agreed level of service from suppliers and managing support capacity and costs.
The CandidateYou will have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to work with health professionals in NSS, NHS boards and Local Authorities. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to maintain strict confidentiality is essential. You should have the ability to manage conflicting demands and differing priorities, and negotiate with and influence both customers and suppliers to agree timescales and deadlines.
Location and Working Pattern- Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow.
- Currently hybrid working
- Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
