Role Overview:

We are on the hunt for a highly capable and commercially astute Regional Financial Controller to join our growing Group Finance team. This is a high-visibility role where you'll take full ownership of the financial oversight for one of our key regions-the UK, Europe, or the Rest of the World. You'll be the critical link between our local finance teams and the Group Finance function, acting as a true business partner.

Reporting to the Head of Group Finance, this role will play an instrumental part in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, providing key insights, and maintaining strong financial governance as the business continues its ambitious growth trajectory. You will be a go-to person for all things finance within your region, collaborating with key players across our global network, including the Head of Group Finance and other Regional Financial Controllers.

  • Own the monthly financial close process for your assigned region, ensuring timely and accurate reporting from our local entities.
  • Analyze and explain variances against budget, prior periods, and forecasts, with a particular focus on revenue movements and key cost drivers.
  • Contribute to Group-level reporting by supporting the Head of Group Finance with internal and external reports, including for investors and the board.
  • Provide holiday and absence cover for other Regional Financial Controllers, ensuring continuity and seamless support across all our regions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting quality and efficiency, and support the integration of any new acquisitions in your region.

The Secret Sauce (Key Experience & Skills):

  • Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with strong post-qualification experience in a Financial Controller or Group Finance role.
  • Prior experience working within a multi-entity, multinational organization.
  • Proven exposure to group consolidation processes and IFRS reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to interpret and explain financial results clearly.
  • Bonus Skills: Advanced Excel skills and prior experience with consolidation/reporting tools.
