Noble Recruiting is working with a growing mechanical services company based in Canvey Island to recruit a confident and proactive Junior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator.

What's on offer:

• Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Full-time, permanent position
• Office-based: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Early Friday finish at 3:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Quantity Surveyor with take-offs and cost estimates from mechanical drawings and schematics
• Procuring materials, managing supplier quotes, negotiating where needed and raising purchase orders
• Reviewing technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Liaising with Site Managers and clients to gather accurate project information
• Tracking costs and ensuring alignment with budgets

Person Specification:

• Looking to grow your career in Quantity Surveying or Estimating
• Able to read and understand construction layout drawings
• Confident communicator with a keen eye for detail
• Experience using Ensign estimating software is an advantage, but not essential
