Junior Quant Trader

Job description:

Working alongside experienced traders and portfolio managers, you'll gain hands-on exposure to live markets, helping to design, test, and optimize trading strategies and algorithms in a collaborative environment.

• Apply quantitative trading methods across multiple global markets.
• Develop, back-test, and implement systematic trading models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with senior team members to enhance existing trading strategies.
• Monitor real-time market activity and portfolio performance.
• Research and experiment with new data-driven approaches to trading.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong quantitative and analytical mindset
• Degree (2:1 or equivalent) in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Econometrics
• Programming skills in Python, R, Matlab, C++, or similar
• Interest in financial markets; prior experience is a plus but not required
