Junior Quality Engineer

Location: Ashford
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Engineer to support our Quality and Compliance team across a wide range of Quality, Environmental, and Business Improvement projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen interest in quality management and compliance, looking to build their career in a manufacturing environment.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (advantageous but not essential)

Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar Quality Management Systems is a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD knowledge helpful but not required)

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning

Qualifications
A qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar Engineering discipline is a huge advantage. What matters most is your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.
