Junior Trader - Dubai (Assessment in London, Relocation Supported) Overview

Our client, a leading proprietary trading firm, is seeking exceptional individuals to join their trading team in Dubai. The assessment process for this role will take place in London, and successful candidates will be fully supported with relocation to Dubai.

What We're Looking For

• A strong academic background, ideally with a STEM degree (mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, economics, etc.).
• A demonstrable interest in financial markets and trading.
• A track record of success in competitive environments (e.g., elite sports, Olympiads, chess, debating, or similar).
• Previous experience on a market-making trading desk is a strong plus but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Training & Development
  • Undertake an intensive Junior Trader Development Programme, designed to fast track high performers towards senior roles.
  • Combine structured off desk education with real time, on desk training across trading strategies, technical analysis, market fundamentals, & market making principles.
• Trading & Desk Support
  • Monitor and maintain accurate, real time desk risk.
  • Execute hedging trades as required to manage exposure.
  • Assist with order flow, market monitoring, and risk control processes.
• Research & Idea Generation
  • Identify and investigate trading opportunities.
  • Develop and present trade ideas and execution strategies to senior traders.
