We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working clinical fellow (post foundation training) in Gastroenterology, Nutrition and Intestinal Failure at University Hospital of Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to spend 12 months working within a thriving multidisciplinary nutrition team and Gastroenterology department in a large Intestinal Failure centre, commissioned to provide care to patients from a wide area of the West Midlands.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will manage inpatients on the Gastroenterology ward including those with Types 1,2 and 3 Intestinal Failure They will work as an integral part of the Multidisciplinary nutrition team.
This role would suit post foundation training doctors interested in pursuing a career in gastroenterology, particularly Intestinal Failure.

Job responsibilitiesThe role will include opportunities for involvement in audit and research and engagement with post graduate teaching programmes within the hospital. Involvement in national Intestinal Failure initiatives would be possible for an interested candidate. Educational Supervision will be provided.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
