Job Description

An enthusiastic and motivated individual with entry-level knowledge of the offshore energy industry and business development/sales, who can develop and grow into a key contributor to our overall sales performance. The primary focus will be on learning the industry by assisting experienced sales team members in developing opportunities from initiation to closure.

The Role

  • Identify and Qualify: Support the offshore sales team in identifying and qualifying potential opportunities through management of industry and client portals.
  • Engage and Discover: Support and shadow sales team members in engaging key personnel to develop and maintain relationships within offshore energy client groups, such as energy project developers, EPCIs, and OEMs, in line with sales strategy and stakeholder mapping.
  • Propose and Iterate: Assist the sales team in developing clear, concise, and compelling proposals that reflect clients' needs based on gathered intelligence and guidance from the sales lead. Collaborate with SMEs and bid managers when necessary.
  • Bid and Win: Contribute to the success of the sales team by supporting timely, technically sound, and financially viable bid submissions in response to RFQ/RFPs. Help sales leadership monitor sales performance and forecasting by collecting and reporting sales data.
  • Learn and Share: Develop a thorough understanding of LR's solution portfolio by shadowing experienced team members, preparing for career development to sell independently. Participate in external marketing events, conferences, and workshops to develop networks and promote LR.

  • Ability to communicate value propositions clearly and convincingly at different organizational levels, influencing successfully and openly.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work across organizational and departmental teams.
