Junior Buyer

Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer with a strong short-lead UK fashion background to join a fast-paced and commercially driven fashion business.

Responsibilities

• Support ownership of categories from development through to sign-off and trade.
• Manage product developments and short-lead critical paths.
• Support fittings, sign-offs and product amendments.
• Manage supplier communication and order chasing.
• Monitor sales, KPIs and bestseller performance.
• Support daily trading and category decisions.
• Work closely with the Buyer and wider buying team.
• Attend buying trips where required.

Requirements

• Proven experience at Junior Buyer level within fashion.
• Strong short-lead UK buying experience.
• Excellent understanding of fast-paced product development.
• Strong commercial and trend awareness.
• Good supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Overseas buying trip experience.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work at pace.
• Strong eye for fashion and commercially relevant trends.
