Junior Accountant

Are you an experienced accountant looking for an opportunity in a dynamic, international environment? A leader in high-end all-inclusive vacations is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its finance team, supporting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable/Receivable & Cash Management:

• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Process expense reports and airline ticket accounting.
• Integrate miscellaneous payments and customer refunds into the banking system.
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and perform bank reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Handle VAT returns and tax/social security declarations.
• Liaise with external financial bodies in the Netherlands.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting.

Technical & Soft Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Fluency in Dutch (B2/C1 level) for reading and writing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.

Location: Brussels with frequent travel to Amsterdam
