Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee our workshop operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various cabinetry and joinery techniques, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. This role requires excellent leadership abilities, as you will be responsible for managing a team of skilled tradespeople while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily workshop operations, ensuring timely completion of projects.
Coordinate and manage the workflow of manufacture and assembly tasks.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and associated wood working machinery.
Oversee cabinetry & joinery work as required.
Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
Train and mentor team members in best practices for manufacturing techniques and tool usage.
Manage inventory levels of materials and tools necessary for workshop operations.
Collaborate with joinery manager to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cabinetry and joinery manufacture work.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and associated wood working machinery relevant to construction tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by various projects.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and liaise with joinery manager.
