We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and experience in operating various machinery and tools. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for using specialist machinery as well as setting up and operating your machines safely.
Attention to detail, precision and teamwork is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a hardworking and dedicated team producing high quality products that meet tight deadlines and high customer expectations.
Operate fixed woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
Set up machines and follow drawings and cutting lists
Produce high quality, accurate and timely work to meet deadlines
Minimise material waste and maintain a clean tidy and safe working environment
Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets specifications
Assist with manual handling, stock preparation and packing materials
S kills
Proven experience with woodworking machinery and tools
Ability to read and interpret cutting lists and drawings
Keen eye for detail and be able to focus on accuracy and quality
Strong organisation skills and the ability to work alone and as part of a team
Committed to health and safety practices in the workplace
