Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) - Outbound Logistics Process Expert/Sr. Consultant

Location: Germany

Language: German Speaker and English

Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) with a strong emphasis on outbound logistics processes and functionalities.

  • Deep functional expertise in outbound logistics, eg:

    • Order-to-Cash process flow

    • Shipment planning and optimization for finished goods

    • Carrier management and tendering for outbound freight

    • Freight audit, payment, and accruals related to outbound movements

    • Last-mile delivery considerations

    • Proof of delivery (POD) mechanisms

    • Returns logistics (as it relates to outbound fulfilment)

  • Proven experience in configuring and implementing OTM modules relevant to outbound operations (Order Management, Shipment Management, Operational Planning, Freight Settlement, Visibility, Rate Management).

  • Strong understanding of OTM's integration capabilities (eg, GLOG XML, REST APIs) for connecting with ERP, WMS, and other systems.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with OTM reporting tools (eg, BI Publisher, OTBI).
