People for Animals (PFA) is India's largest animal welfare organization, working towards the protection and promotion of animal rights through legal intervention, rescue operations, policy advocacy, and public awareness initiatives.

The role of Animal Cruelty Response Officer (In-House) is a full-time position involving active response to animal cruelty complaints, coordination with authorities, and on-ground intervention to ensure enforcement of animal protection laws.

• Respond to and assess complaints of animal cruelty
• Coordinate with police, RWAs, and municipal authorities
• Facilitate rescue and emergency support for animals in distress
• Ensure enforcement of applicable animal protection laws
• Draft legal communications and documentation related to cruelty cases

• Bachelor's degree in Law / Social Work or related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience (professional or voluntary)
• Knowledge of Indian animal welfare laws
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently with compassion in field situations
