Job Opportunity: 1:1 Tutor (Ipswich - IP3 Area)

Reed Tutors, a leading alternative provision service, is seeking an experienced and compassionate tutor to support a 15-year-old learner who has faced challenges in mainstream education and is now engaging with an alternative provision setting.

Location

Ipswich (IP3 area)

Schedule

Tuesdays & WednesdaysApproximately 9:00am - 2:00pm

Pay Rate

£30-£35 per hour (dependent on experience)

Role Overview

The successful tutor will deliver personalised 1:1 sessions, helping the learner re-engage with education and progress confidently. You'll play a vital role in providing stability, structure, and tailored support.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
• Recent teaching or tutoring experience (within the last 2 years)
• Ability to build rapport with young people who may have additional educational or emotional needs
• A calm, patient, and supportive approach
