Jet Vac Operative

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for multiple Jet Vac Operatives to join a growing industrial services and waste management operation across several sites in the Greater Belfast area and surrounding regions.
This is a hands on role suited to candidates who enjoy working in physically active environments and want to build a career within a specialist and essential industry.

The Role

You will work as part of a team supporting Jet Vac operations on customer sites, assisting with industrial cleaning, waste removal and equipment handling while maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the safe set up, operation and shutdown of Jet Vac equipment
• Operating hoses, tools and industrial cleaning equipment
• Supporting the removal and handling of waste materials
• Carrying out manual handling tasks as part of daily operations
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with site safety procedures and risk assessments
• Checking equipment before use and reporting any defects
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment after use
• Using PPE correctly and promoting a strong safety culture
• Working closely with drivers and team members on site
• Supporting overtime and additional shifts where required

Requirements Essential

• Experience working with machinery, plant or in industrial/physical environments
• Experience in manual handling or physically demanding roles
• Strong awareness of health & safety
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
• Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor environments

Desirable

• Jet Vac or industrial cleaning experience
• Confined space experience
• Experience working with hazardous waste or industrial services
• Relevant health & safety certifications (training can be provided)
