Java Software Engineer

We're Hiring: Senior Java Developer (10+ Years Experience)

Location: Kortrijk, Belgium Full-Time Dutch & English fluency required French is a bonus

Are you a seasoned Java Developer with over a decade of experience designing scalable back-end solutions? Do you also bring a bit of frontend magic with React or other modern frameworks? If so, we'd love to meet you!

About the Role

As a Senior Java Developer, you'll take a lead role in building robust, high-performance systems that power critical business applications. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and help shape the technical direction of our projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining complex Java-based applications
• Collaborating with frontend developers using React or similar frameworks (a bonus!)
• Leading architectural discussions and code reviews
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Working in agile teams to deliver high-quality software on time

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of backend architecture and API development
• Experience with frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required
• French language skills are a nice bonus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean code
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers is a big plus
