Java Software Engineer

For one of their key clients based in Gelderland, Amoria Bond is currently looking for a Java Software Engineer - Cloud & Backend Development. This is a long-term freelance/contract position, offering a hybrid working setup.

As a DevOps Java Engineer, you'll be contributing to the development of high-impact tooling and infrastructure that supports the digital transformation of geospatial data processing. You'll work closely with DevOps colleagues, machine learning engineers, and GIS specialists to deliver scalable, automated solutions within an Azure and Kubernetes environment.

Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in backend Java development
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Strong proficiency with Azure Cloud
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Solid understanding of Python, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and QGIS
• Fluent in Dutch (written and spoken)
