Salary/Rate: Up to £320 / Day Inside IR35

We have an exciting opportunity available with one of our leading financial technology clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Java Developer to join their innovative engineering team, contributing to high-performance systems within the payments and financial services domain.

• Strong experience developing in Java 17 or later.
• Solid knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Web, Spring Data, Spring JPA, and messaging frameworks.
• Proven experience with REST API development and integration.
• Practical experience with Docker, Helm, and OpenShift (OCP).
• Understanding of AWS fundamentals and familiarity with cloud computing concepts and terminology.
• Hands-on experience working with RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL or AWS Aurora).
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber and performance testing tools like Gatling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git and Jenkins.
• Experience with Gradle or similar build tools (bonus points for Gradle).
• (Bonus) Background in Financial Disputes Management or Payment Networks.
