Java Developer

We re helping our investment banking client with their search for a Java engineer, who will has an excellent handle on microservices architecture.

Here are the essential skills the client needs:-

• 4+ years of software development experience in Java, and expected to be hands-on to software development tasks
• Solid Experience with microservices engineering
• Experience with Kafka for messaging an important aspect of the role
• Comfortable working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Familiar with SDLC process
• A TDD approach to work and test automation (Junit, Mocking, Gherkin)
• Previous experience working in an investment banking environment a plus but not essential
• Excellent communication and follow-through, analytical, self-motivated, attention to detail a must
