Java Developer - SC Cleared

This is an exciting opportunity for anSC CLEAREDJava Developer working at the forefront of digital defence technology. Thesuccessful candidate will work in a cutting edge public-sector project, seeking to exploit data for the benefit of the nation.

Required Experience/ Skills:

• Experience building Digital Services / Software Applications
• Experience designing micro-services and building solutions in an agile DevOps environment
• Core Tech Stack: Java, Spring Framework, Containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Software Design skills including UML, Domain Driven Design.
• DevOps skills including Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, Linux, Docker.

• Excellent consulting / stakeholder engagement skills
• Appreciation for agile working methods and GDS standards
• Willingness to be part of the work-shopping / requirement gathering / definition side of the engagement
• Appreciation for full stack development a strong advantage
• ACTIVE SC clearance is required
• Desirable to have prior experience working in a Defence engagement.

• Rate offered: Up to £525 per day
• IR35 Status: Outside
• Duration: Initial sign up of 6 months, significant opportunity for extension.
• Location: 1-2 days/ week onsite in Hampshire
