Job Description

Title: Java API Developer
Location: Northampton, UK
Type: Hybrid
Salary: £290 per day (inside IR35)
Contract: Until Dec 2025

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable APIs.
Translate technical designs into clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Perform peer code reviews and support junior developers with technical guidance.
Write and execute comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality.
Contribute to local environment setup processes and automation improvements.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to support Agile delivery.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) or MCA from a recognized institution.
Strong core Java development skills.
Solid hands-on experience with:
- Spring, Hibernate, and Spring Boot
- Java Web Services, including SOAP and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with development best practices, source control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Proven experience working in Agile environments and team-based development.
