J3528 - Channel Development Director - UK, London (Hybrid) - Asset Finance

New Leaf Search has partnered with a sustainably focused UK technology asset and lease management specialist in its search for a dynamic Channel Development Director.

This senior sales role is focused on increasing market presence and driving financial growth by building strategic partnerships with IT resellers, distributors, and equipment manufacturers. These partners will benefit from innovative residual value-based funding solutions and asset management services delivered to their client base.

You will be responsible for originating new business relationships from the ground up-leveraging personal outreach, sales origination tools, LinkedIn, trade shows, and your existing professional network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and implement vendor programmes aligned with the company's offering

  • Source and develop new partner relationships (resellers, distributors, manufacturers)

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities

  • Research and engage with potential partners at decision-maker level

  • Develop tailored presentations and proposals in collaboration with senior management

  • Lead partner meetings, with management support where required

  • Price leasing solutions and value-added services alongside commercial teams

  • Handle objections and negotiations professionally and constructively

  • Work collaboratively with the wider commercial sales team

  • Ensure delivery within agreed risk parameters and service levels

Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience selling sales-aid leasing solutions (asset finance considered)

  • Proven ability to win and grow new channel partner relationships

  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and resilient sales professional

  • Experience in telephone canvassing and managing full sales cycle

  • Knowledge and interest in IT and technology solutions preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with sales, commercial, and marketing stakeholders within partner businesses

  • Able to work independently while collaborating with the wider team

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £125,000 + excellent uncapped bonus & benefits
